Welcome to Trento Hacks!

Hi there and welcome to our blog!

This is the space where we will chat, do some activities and plan the direction of our lessons outside the class.

The first thing we're going to discuss is:

Have you ever kept a blog before?

Leave your answers to this question as a comment to this post.

Hi there folks,

So, first off I'll answer my own question:

I have kept a couple of blogs in the past. I think my favourite was one that we set up to talk about our wedding. We used it to tell all our friends in England, France, Israel Australia and other countries about the preparations we were making. You can still see it at http://loveandweddingsandallthat.blogspot.com

I also kepp a blog about teaching English with technology.

I think the hardest thing about blogging is keeping posting. It is so tempting to only write wonderful long posts, but I think it's more important to post short articles and often.

Well I'm looking forward to hearing about your experiences!

This is the first time I use a blog.
I agree with Seth and think it's better write short messages (but often) than a long (but one in a long time). So we can have discussions about many themas.

What's your opinion?

Honestly, I think It's a little bit hard answer your question simply because, like Daniele, I have never used blogs before. Anyway, it could be interesting visit your favourite one, discovering comments and details about... weddings (maybe it is not so common, I presume). One of the relevant things you are talking about, I suppose, is using blogs to teach. Could you suggest me some example?

Hi everyone!

I'm sorry, but I can write a post for this blog only today. It was a long week for me...

So, about blogs: I have kept a blog last year. It was a personal blog, a "place" where I attached photos that my friends abroad can see.
It was fanny.

Hi there folks,

Well it seems like we have a balance between experienced and new bloggers here. I think that's a good thing, because me and Luisa can help out when we get stuck and Fabrizio and Daniele will have lots of great new ideas.

Fabrizio, I found an example (one of many) of a teacher who uses a blog to teach, or at least help people learn English. You can read it here: http://larryferlazzo.edublogs.org/2007/12/22/the-best-web-20-applications-for-eslefl-learners-2007/

He's a really well known blogger and definitely worth looking at!.

Seth :-)
